My vote is for C-West or an EXACT replica of the JGTC hood that Brian/Volk350z posted.......

The JGTC hood has to be an exact copy or you'll suffer the same doom as Seibon did by making one half a$$ and having to call it "JGTC look alike", when IMO it's anything but similiar. It's almost an insult to call it such.........

either one of the nismo hoods is hot. i'd prefer the hood that comes with the V3 since the RS hood can easily be made.

Seibon didn't call it a "JGTC look alike", that was me. I believe it looks like the the JGTC hood. The Seibon hood is called the "GT", thats it.

All that aside, I think the C-west would be your money maker. I've been trying to push that for months at Seibon.

probably more functional for 2007 Z's. dipstick is accessable and has dual vents for both intakes.

looks like it's more for serious racers. i DON'T think it would be a good idea to have easy access to the dipstick for a daily driver. someone would be able to tamper with it. maybe they should add a grill in that area. nonetheless, i like the Nismo 380Z RS hood.

Point being, they (Seibon) tried making a hood similiar or their understanding of similiar to the JGTC hood and IMO failed miserbly....

This design is something you can't do half-a$$.......hence my recommendation to Shine to do an EXACT replica of the JGTC hood.

ppl in the past who have had our products know that it is well prepped and it is quality

basically you get what you pay for and we have had many satisfied customers on this forum and the RX7 and Supra forums as well so our name speaks for itself

and we wouldnt make any unecessary changes

what about adding a honeycomb middle structure as to eliminate some of the under X bracing from FRP?

i've seen alot of cf hoods that dont need it but companies put it on there anyway.. with proper support you can eliminate alot of the underside..
just a thought

*yea i'd rock ur cwest hood for sure!*

+1 on cwest. I'd rock it. Big fan of their stuff. If fitment is anything like their ip kits, then the mold should come out nice.
