Does anyone know where i can get a good deal, for refilling a nitrous bottle, in the 818 area?

I found this one place but they charged me $45 bucks to fill it

Im sure you already know this, but you should also put your nitrous bottle in a cooler to get it cold before you get it filled.

i will primary use it on the strip due to the simple fact i have DRs for the strip. i might use it on the streets but dont plan to do so cause street tires spin to much.

btw nos is a brand, when u call nitrous nos u really sound like a ricer that watches FnF too much and doesnt know much about nitrous.

I would like to know also. So why do you get the bottle cold before the fill? My Z is about to be bottle fed and I would like to know the info.

This is a blind guess from a chem class that I failed awhile ago lol...is it because a cold bottle will decrease the molecule activities so you can jam more molecules in a bottle?

A heated container will increase the molecular activity and shoot them out more violently when the bottle has an opening

yeah, ur right. basically, u can end jp with 12lbs of nitrous on a 10lb bottle. however, the consequence to that is when the temp rises and the gas expands prior u using the system. so basically, if u plan on running right away, its great. if its a hot day or are unsure how long till u run, well, the weakest point of your system will remind u about this post.

btw, diamond bar honda is a joke! they overcharge for fills. theres like three places between pomona and corona that charge 35 cents/lb.

The bottles are filled by weight. The shop always wants to empty the bottle before putting it on a scale and starting the fill process. 10# is 10# hot or cold.
You probably mean $3.50 per pound.

bump,

the place i went to for refills is sh!tty, when i get about 3/4 of the way done with the bottle it's always air shooting air.

so they charge too much and it's a sh!tty fill, anyone know any other places in the 818-310 area, that fill bottles, besides Orme bros.
