check with local dealers, see if anyone used your vin number and claimed they needed a key made.
It looks like your car was in an Apt parking lot, chances are the thief knows someone living there and has checked out the car before.

This is definitely the first stolen Z I've ever heard about...

Regardless, sorry for your loss man; hope you're able to have it recovered.

wow!!! what's the details? Can't just steal a Z like that. This has to be a planned job. Ive searched the web for stolen Z's and only one or 2 show. One was a home invasion with the prowler taking the keys and one was towed I think. Your info and car info must've been leaked or something, someone got your spare keys, or it was towed.

Anybody can get your VIN on your car and go to a dealership and have them fabricate a key to steal your car.

Other than that... I think the 350z is very difficult to steal but easy to break into.

It takes more than just a VIN number for a dealership to authorize the issuing of a new key.

There are certainly some interesting people on this forum at times. How would the OP benefit from this by posting up a bogus story about his car being stolen?

I hope you find your car and its in the same shape as before it was stolen. I also hope you have a good insurance company that will be willing to fully compensate you for your loss.
