Thanks for all the feedback. Hopefully I'll be posting some good news soon. Let's all learn from my experience here and protect what's rightfully ours.

Z's are easy to steal if you have the right equipment

That car will probably already be stripped down by now if it is a professional job unless it was someone joyriding.

Sorry to hear about the loss, mate. I know how it feels - I had a car stolen from right outside my front door. Aparently they pushed it down the road first in order to leave quietly.

I'm not sure if that is still the case. Back in 1995 I had a master key for Camrys. It would open the passenger door of any Camry and it would start any ignition. That key was given to me by some friends who were car thiefs so I am sure that it was everywhere. That's why it was the most stolen car.

I don't think that a master key still exists for current Camry's though. Regardless, I wouldn't ever consider buying one from the 90's because I know that they can't be protected.

sorry about your loss wish we could get the details that can help us be on the look out and also prevent future stealing of Z's for alot of us who drive them daily

hope they recover it and with the wheels.... our wheels with your sizes and offset only fit on g35's and Z's so they would be floating around

Yeah, it sounds like it was definately a flat bed. If it was raining you wouldn't have heard the alarm. The could have picked that up in a matter on minutes without ever opening the door or driving it.

Good thing you didn't have the expensive stuff installed at the time. It could have been worse though... you could have been the guy who didn't have full coverage.

In the future, I'm going to note the plate number of any flatbed with a Z on it. If we all did it, it would make them hesitate to steal these cars versus others.

Thumbs up

Good idea about taking note of flat-bedded Zs, especially if they seem to be in good (non-wrecked) condition. I'm gonna carry around my camera as much as I can outside.
Good lookin out guys...

Hope you find your car man,

actually 5 X 114.3 is a common bolt pattern not only with mustangs, the Blitz wheels on my Z now came from my brothers Supra but it does not mean the offset is correct or the same as the Mustang... i know Mustangs have some weird offset and i havent seen any mustangs rolling around with Axis or Japanese style wheels as of yet

Whoever stole it, you and your mamma can burn in hell!

If not recovered, I'll be putting my Full Edelbrock Nitrous Kit for sale. Nitrous project was done on my car in Turbo Mag of Sept 2004.

Will be putting up TEIN FLEX coilovers as well.
what city was your car jacked in man??
