you dont NEED a proposal, ive never had a proposal, but i worked in the industry for a bit and dumped TONS of cash into my car on my own.
usually people are sponsored for ****ty stuff i dont want anyways.

yea. same here. ive never done a proposal either and like you...i've been doing this for quite awhile and we've all had to throw in our own money at one time to get where we are today.

what? its all fun and games!!! i dont regret a dollar i spent on my car, i didnt do any of this to get sponsors, i did it because i love drifting and anything that makes the car better at it is worth it.

depending on what kinda car you have its hard to get a sponsor ship..... and like everyone said you have to spend a ton of money on your car.... i had a chance to get a full sponsorshipfrom super street but the thought of them partially owning my car, them having thier ways with it, and me having to pay $100 for thier stickers to be put on my car, shirts and hats for me to represent them in.... lol now f'n way... lol so now IM SELF SPONSORED!

oh btw at the time i only had an intake exhuast, wheels, and a body kit..... and it took them 6 months to reply after i had sent my reply for thier add for sponsorships.... all i did was send them pics of my Z, tell them what my plans were for the car, and why they should sponsor me...

the sponsorship consisted of:

1. a two year contract
2. make to two major shows and races since im in the military
3. 50% discount on all my mods with the spending limit of up to $15,000
4. sport thier stickers/decals on my car
5. wear thier clothing... lol
