You're not crazy. I'd take a secondary car on rainy days if I had one. But hey, a litte bit of water isn't gonna hurt the Z.

Yeah i drove the wife's accord while she drove her mom's camry (she's only here in the US 4-5 weeks out of the year). I would normally drive the Z come rain or shine but I just washed her yesterday and she's going in to Earl's Performance tomorrow for the brakeline fitment testing (don't want to bring them a filthy car).

i'm driving the Prelude today. haven't driven the Z in rain yet. Zaino'd the Z yesterday and left it overnight b/c of the dampness - wiped it off and z-6'd this morning before work even though it made me late.

ok then I'm not alone

it also make my ride to OC tonite better. I won't get tired changing gears from N -> 1- >2 and stopping over and over and over again in rush hour traffic.

I need a second set of wheels for days like this. Damn, I hate car shopping.

The Z is my sole set of wheels, so I drive it everywhere. Even if I had a beater (which I may get in not too long) I'd only drive it if I had to go buy something that I needed room for, or if I had to take more than 1 person, or if I were going to a really shitty part of town. I love the Z, and I wouldn't ever drive anything else if I didn't have to. (unless of course I were rich and could take my pick, and have a whole stable of cars.

Man, I was forced to use my Z today. Its raining like a **** so I decide to drive my other car. A little history before I go on, my other car has been sitting for close to a month and a half. So I get my other keys and hit the alarm...nothing. F*CK!!! The battery is dead. So I was forced to drive the Z in the rain. I'm really upset because I just waxed her and dressed the tires. Oh well...dems da breaks.

What are you going to do, preserve the Z for the rest of your life? It's not hailing or snowing, just enjoy it.

I don't ever have time to wash my car either so I love it when it rains, it buys me time until I have time to actually wash it. The only thing that is scary is that when it starts driving so hard that it feels like the Z is gonna sink into puddles. I was so used to driving my expi and I never had to worry about getting stuck in water or not being able to see in the rain when driving fast.

I'm just paranoid... After living in SF potholes filled with rain water wigs me out. Can you say bent rims? Also f**knuts who can't drive in the rain might come sliding into me.

Unfortunately I have to say most Socal drivers can not drive in the rain. Water falling from the sky is like earthquakes to folks from the midwest. Or socal drivers don't know how to handle it.

BTW Bridgestone S-03 make driving in the rain easier for us car nuts.

I'm scared to say... O.K. don't get angry, but only once a month (I think). I don't ever have time and I don't want anyone else to wash my car. Am I a bad owner? My poor baby is neglected sometimes. She's in good condition though, it's not like I don't give a s**t about her.

NO YELLING AT ME PLEASE!!!

Default car wash

me too, i don'y like other people touching my things, especially the Z, and i'm a stickler when it comes to my car care. but sometimes you just don't have time so i use this car wash on Sherman Way. pretty trustworthy, yet i still insist that they clean only the exterior. Wednesdays is $5.99. that includes vaccuuming interior, for those who want "that type of thing."

i'm sure you look good in your Z- clean or dirty. its just a plus for us guys to see a hot chick, ANd a clean car.

oops i did it again

That's the main reason I don't drive in rain actually. People just get all take a dumbass pill when it rains or something and traffic becomes a total nightmare. I just like driving Z more when I can go fazt.

So with the wonders of modern medicine can we innoculate all the so-cal drivers for the dumbass diease when it rains?

Or do something like an additive in the rain to make people smart again when it rains?

HAHAHA
