Test pipes won't gain you power over a decent set of HFC.

Well I have similar setup. Strup non res test pipes, stock y-pipe and Apexi Single Ti exhaust. It was so LOUD! OMG. So I ordered a silncer and put it in today actually. WOW, made a big difference. Much quiter at lower RPM's but still sounds like an NA beast up top. What size tip on the Agency? If they dont make a silencer, just get a universal one. Drill hole in the tip and screw in place.

how do you get caught now that i am wondering. I mean lets say you do get pulled over. U don't have to pop the hood so they can look down there and it is pretty hard to see from under the car. How do you get caught? I was so lucky i got pulled over for lane changes at 2 in the morning and the cop was nice enough to not even say anything about my exhaust. And assuming he states you are illegal, can't you just put your stock ones on before you smog it if you have to.

i didn't even notice the second page until i posted. Stock exhaust sounds cool, but i have to say an after market one sounds awesome. I personally have the hks true dual and it sounds amazing. If anyone wants to hear it i can try to get a sound clip.

Some people mentioned random smog checkpoints (which I've never seen one and hope to continue so) and that's where they either make up excuses for being late or get owned....

I did this yesterday. The agency power tip was 2mm smaller than the silencer so I used a hammer and a dremel and made it fit. lol

It's much quieter, but the rasp hasn't gone away.
