Best I hit was 14.2@97.8mph and that was with test pipes and greddy evo2 exhaust.

Same here dude, Im ashamed to admit that I have never even tried getting a good launch on the Z, I have all my fun in the twisties, so tommarow will be a learning day for sure. I never even thought about taking it to a drag strip because I dont think of it as a 1/4 mile type car (mustang, camaro), its much more of a road course car IMO.

Well I got some bad news. I was on my way to a buddies house to adjust my timing and make it stock and I had some weird occurances with my rpm. It would drop all the way down to zero then back up in gear.

We checked the code and it showed the crank position sensor. I'm afraid my clutch/flywheel has something to do with it. Now my check engine, slip, and traction lights are on.

I have taken the negative battery cable off so hopefully it'll fix itself by tomorrow. If it doesn't then I might not be able to make it for LACR. I even pumped 3 gallons of 100 octane.

That sucks dude, but if its the crank position sensor shouldnt it have caused a problem right after the install?? Thats strange how the problem can pop up randomly. How long has it been since you had the clutch installed??

Ya driving back was a horrible experience with the check engine, traction, and slip light on.

I reset the ecu last night and driving to work it shut all power and turned the motor off while driving. I had to quickly make a turn because I was in traffic.

It's been about 2 weeks, 400+ miles. I honestly don't get it, it was fine a few days ago now this.
