my mom needs new eye glasses and i got buttraped when i bought mines at LensCrafters a while back, anyone know any cheaper asian smaller places that are in ktown or san gabriel area

Check out ICU Optometry in San Gabriel. 220 W. Valley Blvd. Its in the second floor of Swiss Plaza. Everything is like half of what Lenscrafters is.

 

You can buy them at Costco for about $30 bucks then just go get some lenses made. OR you can also buy those reading glasses they sell at Longs Drug or Rite Aid for about $5 and do the same.. get lenses made for them.

For the reading glasses at Longs/Rite Aid, make sure you look at the frame itself to see if it has a screw to unscrew the old lenses so that you can get new lenses in there...

wait a second, is that the place with the old white dude optometrist? ive gone there since i was in 5th grade lol. they've been jacking up their prices and showing no love to repeat customers, so i stopped going there. maybe they've gotten better

 

Yeah, he still works there part time. A different doctor runs the practice now. I know the prices have gone up a little bit, but its still cheaper than most places. My wife works there so I get good deals
