Default Will an s2000 shift **** fit on a 350z?

I have an s2000 shift **** lying at my parents house and am in need of a shift **** currently. Just to save myself the drive to my parent's house (30 minutes) does anyone know if it will fit on a 350z?

damn, hey thanks for the help!

I was trying to find a good shift **** but don't want to have to fork out 60+ for one and I really want a ball shape or a 6 speed ****.

I'll keep searching the for sale threads, looking for something inexpensive...

if you're wanting something inexpensive i recommend this one:

http://www.mynismo.com/images/?id=2359

it comes w/ the 5 spd pattern sticker, but you can always get the 6 spd emblem:

the thread size of the s2000 **** appears to be smaller than that of the 350z. I was wondering because i have it lying around and its got a 6 spd # on it.

In your link I have seen that shift **** before. I have always passed it up because the bottom looks weird, does it look normal once on a 350z? it doesn't BOW out to the sides much?

have you considered this

http://www.ricks2k.com/products/othershiftknob.php

i just got one, i've used both the stock shifter, and the aluminum nismo one and i prefer this one, it feels nice and tight, and the throw is shorter.

The ball isn't my only option. i just want it to appear as a short throw without having to get a short throw shifter. I installed a short throw shifter on my last car and it was not as smooth as the stock shifter.

Anyone have experience with a short shifter on their 350z? The shifter appears to be low enough!

I've read nothing but negative reviews about short shifters on the Z. I say you avoid it.
Here's a pic of ARC. It is a lot lower than the stock ****, giving you sort of short shifter feel.(Sorry for the crappy snapshots)

wow that arc **** looks great! Does that mounting piece come with the shift **** to mount it onto? My shifter does not have that plastic piece there. Is the arc the rick's brand one?

The rubber mounting piece is from my old Nismo Ti shift ****. Fits perfectly with the ARC.
