hello my fellow SoCal folks...
there was a lot of disappointment expressed when we realized we really couldnt do a run after the west covina breakfast meet because of weather/road conditions up in the crest so... how about we set one up?

we can meet somewhere around 10am [NO asscrack of dawn for me, thanks] for breakfast/lunch at hill street cafe in la canada on foothill blvd, right across the street from the beginning of highway 2/angeles crest hwy. please see map below for location. parking MIGHT be an issue... they're QUITE busy but if we get a nice group i'll get reservations and see about getting enough spots put aside for us. if that doesn't happen... we'll do what we can!

this is the long route that was chosen by most of the first 15ish people who signed up:
angeles crest highway/2 [north]
all the way up to wrightwood/valyermo
big pines highway [west], which turns into valyermo road, turns into fort tejon road
mt emma road [south]
hit angeles forest highway [south] all the way back down to big tujunga [south]

we can grab lunch somewhere along the way on big pines/valyermo/fort tejon roads area..

as for the date, based on most the first 16 people's responses, we're doing this on MAY 6th and taking the LONG ROUTE.

i know what you mean dude. i just spent 5 minutes staring at the mountains [well, hollywood hills ] and wishing i were up there.

 

OH can you guys also note if you want to do the shorter route or make it an all day [well, a few hours at least] event and take the longer route?

So whats this about Ghosts? I wanna meet some Ghosts, where do they live? Maybe WE can haunt THEM I bet they wouldnt be expecting that.
I can let my hair down and where a bed sheet and carry a bright flash light while chanting, come toward the light.........for those who dont know me, I kinda look like Jesus with my hair down. (checks out window to make sure lightning hasnt struck the Z)
