Do any of you guys think that you get harrassed (by cops) more because of it? Ive heard some stories of just being pulled over to see what the air duct is..or what it does. Any input is appreciated.......thanks!

honestly not yet *knocks on wood, but i can only imagine how **** some of the PD's are..
thats what has restricted me from getting a CF hood or a ginormous GT wing because whatever attracts attention nowadays is just asking for an excuse to give you a referee ticket

damn popo's!
Biggest thing they are cracking down on is exhaust. Anything remotely above stock they give a damn referee ticket for. Then they give a damn sound decible test to check the loudness.
I have a cf ducted hood without any issues. I drove a showcar on the street for years without ever getting pulled over.
But got a ticket for tint on my wife's Dodge neon... go figure!
Hope you have good luck and don't have any hassle from the cops

they are very strict in CA.
I used to get tickets all the time for blue tinted headlight bulbs, that was before the days when every stock car came with HID and now I guess they don't bug about those anymore.
But cops out here get you for tint, exhaust, no front plate... crap tickets like that. They are always looking for some stupid reason to pull you over.

my Z was bone stock and i got pulled over twice for speeding, when i wasn't really speeding. the second ticket, the cop didn't show up at court so im clear of that one. i would think anything that makes ur car look modified would attract cops.

I had an air duct roof scoop on my Eclipse (just like the one in Fast and the Furious) and never got pulled over with any issues. the eclipse also had a scooped cf hood and never got pulled over.
My MR2 had side scoops, engine scoops, and hood scoops and never got pulled over for any of that.
I don't see the scoop as being an issue for you.
