If i remember correctly, you're running 265's in the front, so thats odd that your car would understeer. Also given the fact that you said you were going slow.

Having wider tires in the front will make the car understeer. That was one of the problems.

It's the other way around. Skinnier tires up front have more understeer since the tires will lose grip faster.

Again, insurance usually covers bolt-on's. That's why they ask you up front if you have anything like that on the car, whether you have stock wheels and whether you are going to "custom paint" the car. Most likely they will replace it. Good thing you have lots of pictures and receipts.

In any event -- this is the difference between a good driver and a bad driver. When SupraTT realized he was going into the rocks, he didn't attempt to correct it. Just let the car slow itself down. Lesson for kiddies: once the car is out of control, trying to force it back just makes things worse. +18 for driving skill. Could have been much (much!) worse.

Yeah that would be awesome, but what airbag could bounce a 3000+lb object? lol

Thank god I didn't have my navi installed at the time or else it would be a PITA to remove.

lol No I think i'll stay away from crest for a little bit. I might just look at some Z's since I placed an order for the exhaust and theres a restocking fee to cancel. I might just pickup another Z. I love this community too much, I cannot let go.
