I, for one, hope you get an 07 Z. Much more powerful than most N/A modded 05-06...

Main reasons why I want a 07Z is the aftermarket scene is top notch. We have so many choices, so many various brands and prices, plus I feel this forum and the entire Z community is very friendly and sort of a family. We might not all be close, but we do care for one another because we share a common love for these cars.

Sorry to hear it, your Z was top-notch. Can't wait to see what you do with the 07. Why did you decide not to buy another supra?

No. More tire = more grip, so more front tire in the front will cause the car to oversteer (rear end of car is loose) and less tire in the front will push the balance towards understeer (the front will push / plow).

I dunno, all I know is I turned and it went straight into the mountain.

Plus I was in 6th gear at 1800 rpm cruising, so I had no way of gaining control.

As John mentioned, this is incorrect. Wider tires up front will result in less understeer.

Normally people go with a staggered setup, say 245/275s, but this is just for look as it will not improve handling. Check out the track forum, and you'll find that people run equal size tires all around or at least try and minimize the stagger for a more balanced setup.

I also have cusco sways set at stiff front and rear. GT spec tie bars front and rear and tanabe gf210 springs. My car normally had understeer but last night it was pretty bad. My tire pressures were low because it was cold, the front was at 32psi.
