This forum is pretty active - if you come to 4/26 Saturday's SEMA meet you'll meet a lot of us. Denny's, 888 Figueroa, street parking. About a 1/2-3/4 mile up from the Convention Center and Staples on the right.
Do some searches - there might be a Dodger game or South Bay clubbing thing soon. I guess these are not as car-related, but it's all good.

Um I ran that over the weekend... It's a short drive... Probably 30 minutes only... less if there is no traffic. This is a highly travelled road so if you mis judge a turn... you will slam into a SUV.
But I can make a course of the PV hill that would be more fun...
From end to end and you pass a lot of houses... And Marymount College...
Latigo was a good 55 minute run... Nothing around here like that.
Sorry

The only fun part of the drive in PV is where the road drops 30 feet at Portugise(?) Bend slide area. You can go airborn here if you don't pay attention! Better than any roller coaster ride...

up in pv, at the end of hawthrone theres this one complex thats about a year old it's a great place to take some pictures. They got a small parking lot on the edge of the cliff that looks down towards the ocean. Really nice area I got a friend that has a house in the complex, when my cousin got his Z we went down there and took some shots.

Angeles crest is pretty fun later in the night. There's not too many people, but the higher you go, the more little pebbles there are on the ground. Being that said, I wanna be in front so I don't get more rock chips.
I remember when I had my Solara, I did a cruise that was basically just... cruising. It was fun and pretty nice to drive from Newport Beach all the way to Santa Monica along the PCH. The only thing is that if we do it on the weekend, it's pretty packed and I'm not sure how many 6 speed owners will like driving in stop and go traffic every 10minutes for 3 hours. Besides, what's the obsession with driving really fast along twisty roads for us Z owners? I know I shouldn't be doing it, but it's so fun! Do we need someone to fall off a cliff before we stop doing it? *knock on wood* With that said, I suggest a run that's just cruising around instead of racing around corners.
Know what? Driving straight really fast (on a track) is quite a bit safer than racing around mountain roads. So I say we have a Z meet for grudge night at Palmdale Drag races. That'd be so sweet to see so many Z's at the drag strip. 15 bucks to enter your car and 5 bucks to just spectate. Whaddaguyssay?
