14 years old kid, 8th grade, shot and killed his principal at school this morning. And he killed himself, too. Now, where is our family value here?
This is just too sad...

Man, when I was in 8th grade my biggest concern was whether or not I could get a dance from Amy Cooper (my junior high crush... oh god she was cute for an 8th grader) at the Homecoming Dance. I think these kids are responsible enough for themselves though, although I'm sure once again everyone will be blaming the parents.
I don't know anything about this kid, so maybe his parents were completely useless, but still, an 8th grader understands right from wrong, understands actions & consequences. It sounds like what he actually needed was a friend or two.
However my heart does go out to the family of the principal, as well as the family of the boy that did the shooting.
