Looking to get this wing in CF from a member on the boards here and was wondering if anyone had any oppinions on this.

I have seen pics of others who already have this wing. Anyone with it post pics in here if you can!

Does anyone think it's "ricey". Just don't want to rice the Z out, want it to still appear sporty.

 

I personally don't like this but a lof of people like the wing. It's definitely not rice.

The top half of my car is painted a gunmetal color that looks like CF so I think the cf wing will look great as it will blend well with the top of the car.

dude yeah that wing would look hot on your car i would also invest in the asuka top cf pieces... that is what i plan to do like andy@performances car asuka pillars, roof, hood and hatch. What street is that on it looks familiar

 

I had the authentic Ver.2 in fiberglass and was very happy with it, but I switched to that same one you posted in carbon, boy was that a mistake! For starters the way it's weaved looks kind of bad and underneath you can see where the carbon ends. To top top it off it started to fade almost right away! So I had to paint 90% of it.

 

I saw one on the freeway this weekend. I got excited and thought it was that one JDM Nismo wing that I love. As I got closer I saw that it was the Veilside. It looked ok. I was neither wow'd or repulsed by it. It is fairly large though....a bit too large for my tastes but overall it's nice.

 

well I finally got the wing off Mantis77 and LOVE IT! I just installed it sunday 5/20/07 here are some pics, let me know what you think! I think the CF blends well with the top half color of the car:

j/k. It fits the look of your car great. It almost mirrors the lower rear which is cool.

 

Your Car lloks tight except for tha tailights. Looks like a bubble eye goldfish.

 

If you like it, then that's the only opinion that matters.

 

It seems like on EVERY thread I look at, if anyone changes the taillights to anything but the 06 LEDs or leaves them stock, then people dislike the lights...

Glad to see some others like the wing tho!

 

It looks pretty good in general. Great bodykit and hood combination.

The taillights have been covered.

It's really the color scheme that doesn't do it for me. DB with black two tone, red tails, and white reverse lamps and gold wheels with silver lip is one or two colors too many in my opinion. Black rims or blacked out reverse lamps and head lights would even it out.

Then again you already went for shock value with the two tone. I like a more balanced look.

...but like was said earlier though, it's your opinion that matters most.

 

Looks good man congrats on the wing, but I really suggest you put a good clear coat on it, because like I said above it starts to fade pretty quick. I really like the GTC mirrors looks sweet! I want to get them but I don't want to get rid of my power mirrors, so i'll stick with the overlays for right now.

 

thanks for the reply! Honestly it is no where near as dope as yours! I would really like to have those widebody flares, like i showed you in that picture of my kit with the fenders on it. that would make it look much nicer. i tried that company you mentione but they never replied back to me about the flares.

 

Not my favorite wing. I would go with the Veilside V1 wing with the cf top wing. Looks really good on dark color cars. One member (WPPJR30) is selling his shipped in the low $700's!

 

I do like the veilside v1, but since I paid $100 for this spoiler, I can't complain! I couldn't imagine paying over $700 for a spoiler... I'd rather invest in the veilside widebody flares for the extra cash!
