do you have any other suggestions??? i would really appreciate any help i could get. you can PM me also or email esfand350@gmail.com

I work in an insurance company as well as a claims adjuster. What the other examiner here mentioned on his post won't be valid because an appraiser will not be able to inspect A vehicle, unless it's a recovered theft. Thefore I suggest you become real good friends and really get along with the inside claims adjuster. Try to fight it, blah blah blah. Either the Adjuster (inside) hooks you up. Or sorry bro, but they will only cover factory stuff. Unless of course you had additional equipment endorsement added to your policy.

good luck!

To be quite honest with you, my experience in having matters of this sort or any third party company I am in a dispute with, I would hire an attorney to write a letter on my behalf. Just last week I had discount tire give me two brand new tires for my girls beetle and cut me a check for a new abs sensor line that was damaged when one of the used tires I purchased from them blew on the highway. And they said they dont warranty used tires or be responsible for damages to the vehicle. It all comes down to who you argue with. The regional manager from discount told me that his legal department looked at it would rather make me happy then go to letigation which would cost thier party as well to defend. Just my .02

that sucks....i'm suprised that they didn't take the engine and trans. did they tell you where they found it? was it in a garage somewhere and if they found it in some building...would they be able to find the guys who did it? hope everything works out for you.
