Default nsx racing a Z (from nsx forum)

At first I ignore it, but since he keeps staying right next to me in traffic I know he wants a piece of me. So the next stop light turns green and there is no one on the road, so we both punch it. I dont have the quickest NSX cause its an automatic, but it is supercharged with i,h,e. He kept up for a little bit, but I slowly pulled away. The road we were on headed for a left turn and I knew his car could not make that turn as well as an NSX and thats where he really backed off. He tried to catch up after the turn but it was all over. Its such a great feeling of satisfaction when you smoke someone who is challenging you, when all your trying to do is drive home. Im so glad my car is supercharged. It wont happen again, cause im not a street racer, nor do I go out looking for this sort of thing. I just had to put this guy in his place.

Yeah, there are some Z douches out there.

When you say the Z was 'tricked out' did you have any basic idea of what was done to it?

Of COURSE it was a young punk in a "tricked out" Z. I mean, the chances of this assclown having met the stereotypical Z owner must be astronomical. And he was trying to race based on the "looks he was giving".

oh lord... trolls.

And maybe the driver didn't want to be UNSAFE and speed around a corner... what happens if your well balanced NSX hits an expansion joint or something and unsettles the rear going 100+ around a corner? < you lose.

'great' story, cool car. and I have never had to 'back off' because of a corner we don't drive Monte Carlos you know...

Here's a question... how do you have a supercharged [anything] WITH an intake? I thought you could only have one or the other, but not both. Maybe I'm wrong?

It's a roots type supercharger not a blower so it still uses an intake system.

The taunting is a bit lame, but other than that, what's the big deal. Oh and I'm sure that a stock Z with an okay driver could take the corner at the same speed as that NSX.

It was awhile back, but I was in the Z at a red light and a modded NSX pulls up along side me. We were both making left turns and I was in the outside left turn lane. When the light turns green, the NSX takes off and drifts wide onto my lane and cuts me off. I was rather annoyed and followed pace for a bit. The thing is I actually knew the guy, but don't think he knew I was the driver of the Z.

LOL wheres the pics!?! Seriously, not to hate, but the NSX is over-rated IMHO. Its a wannabe exotic. Its nice but for that money I woulda bought a real sports car, a porsche. For the amount you pay, its not even that quick.
