Why are "In Memory Of..." stickers so popular here?
John, That's your opinion and I respect that. But this is my own opinion......What about the people who put stickers on there car? Sponsors? letting everyone know what mod they have in there car? Now that is wat you call annoying as F#@K!!. "In memory of.." that's IMO ok.

I see it all of the time as well and have no problem with it. It's not my car so if it helps them feel better then so be it. If any of my close family or friends pass on I know it would be my first excuse to get a tattoo.
i see that and the Mi Familia stickers.
i've been pondering if i should put
Mi Familia
the spanish words for Turbo, Coilovers, Big Brakes, and Strut bars..

or In Loving Memory of my NA engine...

If that is their way to cope with a lost one, let them be. I've seen too many people torn apart by the death of loved ones and some of them are never able to let go. If putting sticker on their car helps them, so be it. I'm just happy that I am not the one devastated by someone's death.

But the whole Raider Nation and tatoos and car decals with Raider logos I think is just a bunch of people "Joining the bandwagon" none of them actually like the team.... I'll root for a "decent" California team like the Chargers haha GO LT!!!
My Favorite player is Randy Moss, pissed me off when he left Minnesota... I really liked the Vikings.

Yeah I found a poser fan at my work, he has an emblem on his solara and doesn't know **** about the team. I gues he thinks he has to be a fan because he's mexican.

I didn't want to say anything "racist"... but I think your comment sums it up! There are a lot of them who wear Raiders crap or have decals on their cars... some are so lame they go as far as putting tatoos on...
Most of them are on a huge bandwagon but none of them actually watch football or known ANYTHING about the team either! Or else they would know they have been the LAUGHING STOCK OF THE NFL FOR THE PAST FEW SEASONS!!!
-I feel a new thread coming on...

I don't see what the big deal is, these people are just honoring their loved ones. I mean, sure, I guess you have to move on when you lose a loved one, but there's a difference between continued mourning and remembrance. A sticker is just remembrance.

Should we just bury our dead loved ones in the backyard or cremate them instead? Since no one else knows them right?
It's little extreme but to some folks it's the same sentiment.
I wouldn't put the sticker on my car, but it's just another form of respect and rememberance. If it's how people want to deal, I'm not going to judge 'em for it.

also, if we cremate them, they can't turn into zombies!

haha i too was wondering how long it would take for them to notice that in your signature.
PS> I'm down for either cremation of donating my bodyparts/orgams to science or to needy people as opposed to being burried
