Time: 9:00 a.m.
Don't be late!!...We leave for the drive no later than 9:30. We can make a few stops along the way and then get some lunch afterwards.

Things to bring: Two-way/FRS radios, water, camera, AAA cards for anyone in need.
Things to check: tire pressure, oil, arrive with gas

Note: Safety first. Please be mindful of your fellow Z drivers as well as the other drivers on the road. The general rule of thumb is faster drivers up front and those who just wish to cruise near the back. Please drive at your own pace and do not be pressured into driving faster than you feel comfortable with.

I'd like to do that some time. Never been in the canyons but I liked the other areas. I'm in.

Word of advice. Don't plan this on the last Sunday of the month. that's when Supercar Sunday is and CHP is all over the place. There are some cool cars up there though.

True there are cops out, but it really isn't that bad. One can see cops everyday on the freeway to and from work. If one is familiar with the Malibu area, they can pick their spots and make sure to slow down in certain areas and on certain roads.

 

Just take it easy and don't give then a reason to stop you. Try not to go up to Stunt Rd. Thats were I always see the most activity. Last time I went up that road there were 3 cruiser and one bike.

 

Damn, I love X Rd... I was just going to suggest it. Crenshaw to Slawson to Washington is also nice. You can drive by the xxxxx.

 

Don't name roads please. The popo browse the forums at times.

When we go on the drive, I'll choose a variety of roads, so no worries. Or you can make your suggestions then.
