I've gotten 13.9 with TCS on (forgot to turn it off) with only an intake and Michelin Pilot Sport tires as my mods. You'll just have to experiment to see what conditions TCS might help in. If your tires are going to slip a lot it's better to leave the TCS off so that it doesn't cut your power. Step on the brake with your left foot, put it in Neutral and lightly rev the engine with your right foot. You will feel the brake pedal drop just a little bit more as power is applied. With your left foot still on the brake, put it into Drive and rev the engine to around 1200-1800 RPMs. Don't hold this for very long. Unless your reaction time is very fast, start releasing the brake and stepping on the throttle at the same time on the second to last light."

does that sound.....somewhat....realistic?
Not with my car... we have VDC... If I apply brake and throttle at the same time it cuts power - ever with VDC off... the only way to avoid this is to defeat yaw/vdc/abs by pulling plug (I'm waiting on a switch wired to do this)... additionally, even what power I do have spins the tires excessively because I have open differential. So I am currently limited to launching off-idle... my best 60' is 2.1... once I get some things dialed in my launches will be better and consistent. But as far as technique (in my AT G Sedan) I'm doing about the best that can be done for now.

Your car may differ.

Pull the rear brake light fuse out. This is the same problem we have with burnots. If it detects the accelerator and brake pedal being pressed at the same time it cuts power.

I pull the fuse anytime I want to do long burnouts and it works fine.

If you have a touring model then you have to have VDC. VDC isn't something that has a button to disengage like TCS. That's probably why you think you don't have it.

Henry, can you keep track of this list and incorporate to the G35Driver list... I was hoping to keep it to one list, but if we get more Zs here than on Driver it's cool... I just want to have one accurate list (of total participants) somewhere if we can.
