I would only worry about a helmet if you have a ton of bolt-ons, DR's, or SC/ST/TT.

I'm really interested to see what the HR's will do, especially if they use DR's or Slicks; with DR's, I'd be worried about a helmet

PS. Its usually very hot around that time of year; that will not help your times nor yourself. So make sure you bring some supplies for cooling yourselfs. Food is also very expensive in there. People, bring chairs!

**cough cough**

07' Z's run 13's stock.

I would bring one just in case especially for you Z guys since you are lighter than use Gs so you will probably be close or faster than 14.

Did you pick up your drags yet?

Picking it up this weekend. I actually calculated it and it's almost 3% smaller than my OEM rear wheel setup so i'll accelerate faster.

I'm sure 07 Z's are capable of 13.4 in ideal conditions. And as we have already seen, one 07 Z has done 13.2 in MD if I recall. But MD tracks are so far better than our crappy cali tracks.

Im sure that VQ35HR will outperform a VQ35DE by a significant margin.

At California Speedway... we will see. I'm very interested to see what the HR's do

I'll be going to LACR shortly next week, or the following week to get a final practice. I really need it

Well if I ran 14.2@99mph bone stock at LACR with a 2.2 60ft in 75 degree weather, i'm pretty sure I can bust a 13.5 or better in a 1000ft elevation with drag radials, tp's, intake, y-pipe, exhaust, race gas, and 200 lbs lighter.

My car is in the shop because my clutch pedal went to the floor but don't worry guys should be ready by the 30th. Two of the other Z's flaked, my cousin's m3 flaked also but the single turbo SC300 is still on route and my buddy is bringing his C5 Z06.

Your car? My car gets the **** beat out of it everyday. Thats why it hung with a 390ft/tq chipped 335 on the highway then got towed to the dealership. My baby will be back in my arms though, i'm getting her back on Thursday and installing my intake and setting up the race gas and rear drag suspension settings on friday.

Okay sorry, she's not a flake guys she just isn't coming. Better?

There might be a slight chance the part might come in tomorrow, but its a very very slight one. I might go to LACR next wednesday night since everything is setup for drag already if you want to join let me know.

I'm actually planning on going on Wednesday too.

I've been going the last 2 Wednesdays; I'm just trying to get as many runs as possible before the track closes next month. 40 runs in two nights is pretty good . I just hope my car doesn't break down from all the runs...

See you there (unless something unexpected comes up)

It's better than CALI speedway because it's not as hot plus the launch pad is better and you get way more runs.

Hopefully i'll get my car back from the dealer by wednesday.
