yea...don't want to give nothing away. But we'll be heading south, and jumping from one canyon, to another one. We'll end up at neptune's net. It'll be very fun, enough corners and long enough to even make the driver pretty tired when we get to the bottom.

last run i organized we had a radio in the front [me] and one in the back..worked out fabulously when we passed cops and i wanted to know whether to slow down cuz they've turned around to follow us or not

 

oh also, since it IS sunday.. the weekly supercar sunday meet will be going on. does anyone wanna show up a little earlier and meet at the supercar sunday location? it's like 10 mins away from this cruise's meet spot:

I'm there, I always wanted to go to one of these things.

 

I talked to him, he said its too far from that week to tell his schedule, but he should know by now.

I need my suspension issue fixed, but I could still go and just deal with the snickering at my crooked front end

 

I didn't mean to dissuade anyone from going to the supercarsunday meets. Everyone is different, but for me, when I see pictures from this meet, I kind of wish I had gone, but when I'm actually there, there just isn't much to do.

I've been going on and off to this meet for the last few years, and it has evolved and changed a bit since I started going. It's much bigger in size now, but I'm not sure it's gotten better exactly. There are some regulars who come out so if I were to drive out, it would be to do a drive through the canyons and see some familiar faces. As Rick mentioned however, there are usually more police patrols during the last sunday of the month.

As for the exotics, once you've seen one, you've seen them all. I guess I get a bit of sensory overload because when I see an exotic driving on the street, I take a couple looks and maybe even slow down a bit, but at the meet, it's not a big deal.

Anyhow, I remember Mar Oner mentioning to me before that he meets elsewhere prior to drives to avoid attention from the popo.

 

yes..i believe i did. The only concern I honestly see from take a particular road i want to take, is cyclists, no, not motorcycles, but bicyclists. They sometime come up the road, as we're going down on nice sunday mornings, so just be extra careful on blind corners, and pleassssee..i know it's hard, but try not to cut too many corners unless you can clearly see the other side.
