anyone ever hear of an 07 motor in an 03-05 chassis?

 

It might not work. I thought they changed it up a bit specifically for that motor. But I am sure it could work but you would need a new hood and strutbar.

I probably won't make it out, but I think there's some confusion about where you guys are meeting. There are two meeting points, so people may be a bit confused. The thread starter or whoever is leading the drive/run should clear things up a bit.

I remembered at the last minute, before it got dark, to put on my ZBracket. Some kind of intuition, along with some of the posts about popos, telling me this is the time to do it. Will get different hardware to make it work with my billet grille after the run.

 

You could get things to work, but I'd doubt they give you one through warranty. Off the top of my head, you'll need to upgrade the ECU, tachometer, hood....and I'm sure there's a whole lot more to add to that list.

Great cruise, save for my brakes fading towards the end and stinking up the parking lot afterwards. I'm gonna have to check my fluid level, and I need to bleed my lines. I told JP (Mar) that I'm thinking of setting up a full canyon day in SD/Riverside counties. If there's enough interest I'll start planning. Be warned though that it'd be a LOT of driving. It'd start in Oceanside off of the 5, and end in Murrita off of the 15. Just chime in if it sounds good.

Also, RedondoG, I already sent a message to the guy with the Alti SE-R, so as soon as I hear back from him You'll know.
