i bought an ext warranty, dealership said it includes painting every six months.

No, paint is not covered. Nissan knows it's of such poor quality that it would bankrupt them to cover Z repaints.

I doubt that warranty include paint job. I hope you got that in writing.

If your dealership told you that it is I would try my best to get it in writing because that's one hell of a deal.

I highly doubt that also. From my understanding all factory warranties will only cover mechanical and labor defects or failures. Same goes for parts that are designed to wear down like brakes and suspension parts. Now if your struts blow at say 10k miles then that's a different story but under normal wear and tear these things are not covered. Nissan does however offer the wheels and tire warranty against road damages.

I highly doubt it will be covered too.

This is probably the type of paint job your warranty covers.



But hey, if you find a dealer that is willing to do a full paint job for you under warranty, I say go for it.
