Ok, ok. I'll preface this with: I know this has nothing to do with Z's, and I don't know what all your opinions on Dodge are (i'm sure i'll hear some), but i'm excited, so I wanted to share.

Last year, shortly after I bought my Z, my dad descided that he needed a fast car too, and bought himself a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8. Being the Z owner I am, I have to give him flak, but truth be told, its a pretty badass car. Anyways, apparently when he bought it, it entitled him to attend this for free:

He just got an email about it coming to California speedway, and signed up to go. He asked my mom if she wanted to go, and she said no, so he bought me a ticket and suprised me with it yesterday!

Now i'm at work, and all I can think about is "finally, I get to experiance a professional showing me how to drive" and "OMGZ I GET 2 DRIVE TEH VIPAR!"

Has anyone else ever done this, or something similar? If so, please tell me its awesome!

 

I was asked to help out with driving instruction there this weekend at this event. Do to my schedule, I can not make it but from what I know about it I am sure you will have a great time.

I've never been fond of any of their styling but any SRT gets a thumbs-up in my book compared to the normal variety.

This thing sounds like a lot of fun....enjoy it.
