Default Screw The Lakers!

yah you heard me.
Being from chicago, the only reason i have anything nice to say about the lakers is the coaching staff. The same staff from the bulls dynasty proves that it is the coaching that wins, not the players.

we all know kobe is an assclown.....deep down inside.....no matter how much u like the lakers....kobe is an arrrogant basterd.
gotaa love shaq though

yah i thought id cause some commotion by getting on this regional forum. im bored.

go kings. screw LA

Whoa, man. I'm a homeboy Kingsssssssssss fan and don't like the LA Pondscum but Kobe is a hell of a player. Plus he creates no bad news off court or in the clubhouse. Married his girlfriend.
Seems to me he is the all American boy type. I do agree he does come across more arrogant than MJ.

Shaq does bug me. He thinks he is just being clever with his comments but I lost my sense of humor with him after the comments on Christie's wife last year.

LOL, you show me a SUPERSTAR that isn't arrogant (your boy MJ comes to mind), that is the most stupid arguement ever.

btw, Kobe is a good guy, he never gets in trouble with the Coach (1/2 the NBA), with the law (the other 1/2 of the NBA), with the NBA with his wife (guys like Jason Kidd, etc...). He just works his *** off and plays hard, hardly something to look down up on. The guy is the "anti-thug" which I like!!

Yeah I know how you all feel. I hated the Bulls when they won 6 championships in 8 years.

But I got news for all of you HATERS.

This is the decade of the L. A. Lakers.
We gonna take the Boston record of 8 in a row and we PISTON all of the teams that stood in our way.

Also, he's clean. No tattoo's on his neck like Iverson's thug image.

Damn you guys in chiago must have pretty depressing lives to come onto the regional forums and talk trash. Looks like the bulls won't be winning any championships anytime soon, not even in the next 100 years. God, life is good in L.A.

BTW, did you guys hear about the floods in sacramento saturday night? Apparently the kings and their fans cried their eyes out after they lost, waaaaaa waaaa.

aright, since were in the moood for comparisons..........

if u had to create a team from scratch......and were given the option of Kobe or Jordan...........who would u take

jordan and kobe both after five years as nba players

no taking shaq or pippen or any other role players in consideration........

either jordan ....or kobe......just them two.

?

at thier prime of 5 years as an NBA player (I don't think Kobes book of life is finished yet, it may just get better), so as of RIGHT now, I would take MJ at their PRIME, I would need to look at the exact stats to compare 5 years out, remember, MJ was a great college player for a great program, Kobe is still learning (scary )

well since we're comparing....kobe vs. michael,

physically they are quite very close. height, both 6'7" and similarly muscular. michael's hands are slightly larger, as he can palm a ball off a fast break dribble

mentally michael has a more mature mindset whereas kobe has a more free spirited psyche... these both manifest on the court through their styles of play.

it depends upon you as to which is your taste... mj just plays to win. kobe likes to look good while winning.

if these two had come into the league at the same time, it would be interesting to see. especially if the draft was affected.

magic and kobe in LA vs mj and pippen in Chicago.

hmm...

5 Years in the NBA? I would have to go with Kobe. Right now he's just doing completely awesome as if he has been playin for a decade... just his maturity level on the court needs to come up just a little.

Here's a good question for you though....
Lakers at their prime... mid 80's vs Bulls at their Prime.. mid 90's

Is it me or is Kobe bitching more and more to the refs? If you're going to whine and be a *****, do it when the ball is dead.
