So I'm minding my own business driving into my office parking lot when all I hear is what sounds like drag racing vipers on MacArthur (near John Wayne Airport). Turns out the Ford GT guys are having a national meet this week down here this week and many of them are staying at the Fairmont across the parking lot from my office!

Pretty amazing cars over there if you like Ford GTs! I have been hearing them race up and down MacArthur all day! If you haven't heard one of these babies wide open, you haven't lived!

The last cars & coffee I went to about 3-4 weeks ago had about 15-20 Ford GTs. It was insane. If there are more in town and they all go they won't have enough parking spots.

The 3rd one down (maroon?) gets my vote. Sweeeeet.

 

Theres about 70-80 cars there right now!

Boy it must be nice to (1) be able to afford a Ford GT and (2) be able to take a week off (work?) to just hang out.

 

I got to watch them Autocross at El Toro yesterday - I am so sick of them now! LOL Beautiful cars, especially the Gulf editions..... *drool*
