Default Family Nissan Rancho Santa Margarita Chipped My Brembo Calipers

I needed rear brakes so, took the opportunity to finally have my cross drilled rotors installed. I asked the Service Writer if they were familiar with doing Brembos because of the special care needed so that you don't chip the calipers. She blew it off like they do them all of the time. Both the passenger side calipers are chipped.
I'm dealing with the Service Director who so far has said all of the right things. I'll post updates as they happen.

Yea, Yea, I know, I should have either done them myself or, gone to WCN.

lol, chips happen. It's wear and tear and you're not going to find brakes that are 100% chip free except on show cars. Just get some touch up paint for it.

Do you have Brembos or a BBK? It was negligence and not wear and tear.

I've had both. How bad are the chips? If the paint is just flaked, it might be better to touch it up then having to go through all that trouble to get it repainted.

O man, sorry to hear that. I cannot stand the RSM Family Nissan dealership !
The head service guy denied me service because my car is too low and "heavily modified". This dealership is within walking distance of my house too. So instead I drive my Z all the way up to West Covina just because they take care of me... no questions asked. Just another reason why Covina Nissan is an amazing dealership that goes above and beyond for their customers. I told some salesman at RSM Family Nissan that they should take notes from Covina. They would be alot more successful...

Sorry to rant...

OK, I know that the entire SoCal community has been holding their collective breath to find out what happened.

I got 2 brand spanking new Brembo calipers installed today. So, I should be happy right? Well, I am but, the dealer appears to have committed fraud against Nissan by making this a warranty claim when it was their own negligence.

Should I give a f...?
