It's clear the majority of the Z owners have some sort of "show" or "motorsport" accessory or item in there car. However, as stated before, not everyone actually uses them all the time or at their potential.

As 1sickVeilsideZ pointed out, what's the point of having 500+ whp if you can't use it everyday. It's basically the same of having a show car with some expensive mods... you can't drive them to work everyday. They are built by the owner for their pleasure for a particular type of venue.

Without getting too much into a pissing match, ihatethatbobbarker, what exactly do you have that makes it better than what you are describing as a waste of time and money? Obviously we will lose plenty of great sponsors on this community because not all carry original JDM parts. I guess all those members with a REPLICA NISMO V2 better lower their heads in shame...

Seems like people don't like that they build show cars only because their name is "High End Performance". If their name was High End Show Cars, I don't think this discussion would have taken this direction.

its not about time or money, im just pointing out that a motorsports trophy requires more. 500hp is a waste when the car sits in a garage, is trailered, and then parked.

im anti replica too, but that topics been beaten to death

if you own an enzo you probably own other nice cars too, you've gotta split the time.

mr bob barker, don't you have a meeting with rickdogg? Nothing wrong with show cars regardless of how fast they are. Some people find it more important that their car looks apealing to them, rather then having 500HP they can't use. 300 is already enough for me to have fun on my commute home from work. Might as well atleast make it so everytime i look at my car, i get excited.

I told him what it would take for me to go through with it, he can message me if he makes that happen.
i'm not criticizing street cars, i'm criticizing show cars.
im glad 300 is plenty for you, its plenty for me as well, most of my money is in my suspension and exterior, and I agree there is nothing wrong with that.

You don't drive an Enzo every day because you don't want it to get damged same reason why some show cars are not driven every day.

^^

i think with all the money Brandon spent on tires alone for drift-day events/competition/track days is probably more than enough to build a really nice looking show car with all the fixings. (ice, etc) He just chooses to spend the money enjoying the car sideways than having it sitting pretty with 1/8 of a tank of gas inside an air conditioned hangar and with flashing neon lights underneath it.

that being said...his car isn't ugly either, custom AME wheels, Zeal suspension, Endless brakes, custom full cage, cf doors, Origin body kit.. etc..

Is Ben (bigbadblacktrack) one of the owners of High End?
