i might also have the silencers at home

you would have to call thenearest referee and then schedule the appt to get it checked out, they will check the level of the db at different rpms and then see if you pass or not, my guess is that with all the talks of how loud the invidia is then it probably will not pass the test. you may have to take it off and put on the stock to pass and then put it back on after you pass the test at the referee office and he gives you the passed sticker.

well i called invidia usa and they told me approx. 94 db but i doubt that....so after i fail the test which is probably going to happen, i have to put on my stock and go back again and get tested for my stock exhaust? it sucks cause my appointment is on sept. 20 and i cant drive until then.

anyone know where i can get my car tested for db?

who says you "cant" drive. the ticket? i remember them telling me the same thing when i got a ticket for loud exhaust, but it takes 10 days for the cops ticket ot get into the system so you should be able to drive for at least the next 10 days. If you have a floor jack just jack it up and take it off and you'll pass easily. I had a dual exhaust on a 4-cylinder and mine was loud as ****, but i PASSED perfectly when I went to the referee, it was surprisingly low when the rpms got higher the tone went down thats why i passed. But I'm sure with invidia it only gets louder as you get more rpm.

up to you, but easiest thing to do is take it off and put it on after the test!

yes the ticket says i cant drive unless i pass the referee test.
if i get caught they will tow my car away.
i guess my only option for now is to take it off.
has anyone heard the exhaust with a silencer? wondering if i'll be able to pass with that

that is correct, I went to peirce college for my referee test. But you HAVE to make an appointment or else they will make you sit around and wait until they can fit you in or after they go out for lunch.

The guy there was a moron which made it easier to pass. I got a ticket for an aftermarket intake so they made me pay for a damn smog check and you have to pass "visual" and I had a header without any markings and the guy didn't even notice it at all. And they call these guys professionals!

Call for your appt and go in, if you pass you pass, if not then take it off, only way to find out
