I could not find a dealer that had what I wanted in stock in December that would sell for even MSRP. I live in San Diego county BTW. I looked all over the entire state. Maybe now is different but I was forced to buy it in Wi.! They delivered it to so. ca. I did not pay shipping. Oh, i did have one on order at the Nissan dealer near Redlands, cant remember the name right now. Seems like it was near the airport out there. The salesman's last name was something like Sailor. He was a good guy and ordered one for me at MSRP. When i got mine out of state, he happily return my deposit. Good luck, I hope that helps...Jeff

Default San Diego Dealers

check out Mossy Nissan; there are 5-6 of them in SD County. They are one price and a very fair company. www.mossy.com for inventory and prices

Ya, Mossy has decent prices. I'm in Scottsdale Arizona for the weekend, and their prices here a less than San Diego's!

yeah, i originally got my first 350z from mossy nissan down in SD for MSRP back in jan.

i just got back from shopping around and apparently there is absolutely zero black or silverstone enthusiast 6 speeds available as of right now. both dealerships i went to did a 5 state inventory check and nothing =(

what sucks is the fact that they found one silverstone 6 speed enthusiast in cerritos so we were finalizing paper work and they would just dealer swap. we agreed on a price of 28600 w/ side airbags, splash guards, floor mats, trunk mat, cargo net and kick plates. it came out to around 1200 under MSRP. they called the dealership to make sure it was there and it was sold on friday =( so here i am back to step one with no car and no dealer to even try to work a deal with. if anyone knows of a dealership that has a black or silverstone enthusiasts model, please let me know! thanks a lot.

You can always order one--time frame is apprx. 60 days. Did you try Pacific Nissan? Ask for Alex Jaffe and tell him John referred you. They dealer swap and apparently Mossy does not from what a salesman told me at Mossy. I was surprised to hear they were going to do a dealer swap for you. Anyway, contact Alex at Pacific Nissan, he will certainly take care of you. He found the Z I wanted extremely fast and was very surprised because there were only one at the time in all of Californiaut I wound up going to another dealership only because they wanted to move the car asap and could not pass up the deal... Best of luck!

funny how fast things change, Pacific nor Mossy were willing to even look for a Z for me in December. Now that more Z's are aorund, they are more customer oriented.

thanks for the advice neohalo. i think i may have a deal worked out though. someone from the boards referred me to a dealership up in northern cali (boardwalk nissan) and they are asking 750 over invoice. puts the car at 28075 w/floor mats, splash guards and side airbags. that seems to be the best price i can find and they have a sister dealership with it in stock. so im thinking ill just take the 6 hr drive up with a buddy and get it there.

^^ No problem--sounds like an awesome deal you have going! I'm down in the SD area, not sure exactly where you live, but PM me if you get your ride so I can check it out--that is if you live down this way. Otherwise, let's see some pics!!
