So today on my way to work I'm driving down a major street in the city of Orange. Up about quarter mile ahead a black 350z pulls out into the street and starts driving. Ahead of him I believe there was a car slowing him down so right as i approached his rear bumper(closer then i normally do) i make a quick lane change and speed around him. As i was doing this i noticed he turned on his hazard lights...?? ok so i get to the next stop light and he pulls up right next to me and says "don't you know what the 350z code of driving is?" I say "uh...no..what is it?" he says "When you see another Z, you NEVER go around him, your suppose to follow him..." I say "oh..uh..ok i'll keep that in mind next time.." Light turns green and i leave.

Anyone else ever heard this before??

Oh, and don't forget, when side by side with a Z, you must look at the other driver ONLY, no looky forward, my F&F Bible tells me so.

 

you know..I didn't want to say anything incase he's on this forum but i really doubt it. He was definately the type of person you would never think drove a Z. He looked like he was in his 40's, old long shaggy hair with teeth that looked like he chewed too much tobacco.

This is not to sound like an *** but hear me out I own a 300zx and a 350z so I see this from both sides while driving the 300zx owners and 280zx owners will ride with you not just follow you and they wave and are very friendly but in my 350 if I see another 350 they just wanna race and rarely do I get a wave....so it's weird...we should be more friendly with all Z owners instead of trying to see whose Z is faster..and acting like asses on the road...IMO thats for the Drag races

 

when i'm on the road most z's will weave around and zoom pass me like dale earnhardt jr.

 

i went around because the lane we were in slowed down and the lane to my right was clear. So i didnt go around to show off, i went around to keep moving instead of having to slow down. But i see what your saying. Everytime i see a white 300ZX i always wave at them. lol

 

We also need to work out our secret handshake, guys.

 

If you see him again...stick your **** outside of the window and ask him if he is aware of the new "wave" of 350z owners

 

Or stand at full attention and ask him if he likes your Z Tube.

 

I think he wanted you behind him alright........ He also knows to tap his feet in a men's room just the right amount of times to connect with the guy in the next stall.
