it is NOT A SKYLINE.
seriously, how many of these useless threads are we going to have? LOOK AT THE RECENT THREADS, we have multiple threads discussing and outlining just about ANYTHING you want to know about the GTR (it is not a skyline) so... no need to create threads.
also, just about every single ****ing automotive site in existence has at least one article with good info on the GTR.
you want the price? you can find it on multiple sites. even NEWS sites like MSN and Google news have stories about the damn car.

Some interesting tidbits I didn't know:
1. Support
To properly support the all-new GT-R, Nissan has established special Nissan High Performance Centers, where all certified advisors and technicians have received extensive training. Total support for the GT-R owner is offered for the first three years of ownership, including measurement and adjustment of the engine, transmission and wheel alignment after the first 1000 km, and again every 12 months, free of charge.
2. Suspension controls
A special “set-up switch” located in the center of the instrument panel. This switch enables the driver to adjust transmission shifts, shock absorbers and the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC-R) in three settings – Normal, Comfort or R, the high-performance setting designed for the Nissan GT-R “supercar” application.
3. Interior
Driver-configurable performance monitor, developed with Sony® Polyphony, with graphical readouts of vehicle data and driving data displayed on a total of 11 screens.
4. Pricing (japan)
They expect to sell 200 units a month in Japan.
GT-R GR6-type dual 7,770,000 yen (~$77,700)
WD VR38DETT GT-R Black edition clutch 7,927,500 (~$79,275)
GT-R Premium edition transmission 8,347,500 (~$83,475)

the GTR will NOT be a 100k car, nor will it be a 90k car or an 80k car...
japans prices are confirmed at 66.5K to about 72K for the premium.
in the US, 73k-75k OTD would be a good ballpark guess.

Rape for first buyers hahahah.
This thing will easy hit 100+k with the mark up, the power out put is pretty nice. But nothing that will have me sell my 08 Z over it.....cuz I am broke lol.
No hot car, me personally since its not sooooo hard core GTR I thought the inside looks a bit rubbish, but I bet if I were to see it in person I be all giggly over it.

A reply to Quan from West Covian Nissan. From what I heard Nissan is not allowing any of the Dealers who are going to sell the car, to mark them up. If they are caught doing so Nissan will pull the right to sell them and also any car still on the lot. Also from what I heard they will make the buyer sign a 2 year aggreement not to sale the car for 2 years. Nissan is trying to keep the price a certain range. Say what you want to say, will see when arrives here in June of '08
