the holes are the same. but what the manufacturer did was measure the the driver side (front left in our part of the world) and made the hinges.
then they just turned the measurements upside down for the other side. they never even opened the fenders on the other side! bad practice! its not a perfect fit and theres a lot of modifications that needs to be done on that side.
okay i'll post pics later!

Are you guys going to recall the manufacture of the hinge and have them make another hinge for the other side?
If you say the holes are the same, then I would assume it will all bolt on since the engine placement for both left hand drive and right hand drive car is the same. What is the problem you guys are encountering with the passanger side?
If there are modification needed in order to get the hinge to fit, then that is probably not a kit for others yet since skill of body shop vary greatly, espically when there are no skilled body shop around you, it makes this project a turely PITA. Hope you get it done and get out a bolt on kit soon, we are all looking foward to the kit.

After 1 week of adjusting and working with the prototype. Must I say it was a week of excitement and anxiety! its finally done. I must say it was all worth it!!! Enjoy the pics and feel free to ask
Great Job! It looks excellent and definitely has plenty of room to get in and out.
One question, though. It looks like the doors form an angle, like a "V" when they're fully open. If you were to park next to a minivan, van, or SUV would you be hitting or coming into contact with the top of those cars?

looks pretty cool, but are those scratches on each door near the fender? it looks kinda like it's bent in or something also. Did you have to make any visible mods to the fender or door? Have to extend the door harnesses?

oh no they are not scratches... those are oily hand marks from our hands. i havent cleaned the car yet. i took the pics as soon as we finished it.
in order to get inside the car you dont actually need to swing the doors up. the door opens normally and lock in place about a foot and a half away from the car. by this time the only place the doors can go is up. but you really dont need to push it up as long as youre less than 300 lbs.
modifications to the fender includes cutting the hole where the stock hinges were to make way for a the big hinge.

hey dont be hating on my $2 flip flop why do you think my car is so nice every penny i earn goes to it... hahaha.
To everyone asking NO we did not fabricate this. Its a bolt on kit that will be available soon. Cost is still unknown. We had the prototype so we still needed to make a bunch of adjustments.
VQracer -- i will get better pics and even video as soon as everything that needs to be installed is installed in my car.
Next week is a Borla dyno day with Mr. David Borla Himself. I finally get my dual exhaust.
Heres whats next ladies and gents
WHOOOHOO!

I didn't check other sites. Not to hijack this thread, but can someone answer describe why Brides cost this much and get this sort of reaction. I'd guess there's a fair amount of weight lost and comfort gained with the transition aside from being built for racing. Other stuff?
Curious,
-Richard
Actually, I can't end this post without saying niiiice work with the doors. It's great to see the final product, so thanks for sharing the pics.

hyperxmr2 - Im not sure if a kit for the G35 will be done.
Victor - i will email you some pics as soon as everything that needs to be installed is installed on the car.
Richard - I'll be honest I've never even heard of Bride since about a little over a year ago. I've always thought that Recaros was the best. The hardcore JDM cars in shows always had Bride. The weird thing is back then you can never get Brides here in the US coz it was so diffcult to order. Since then I've discovered that they do weigh almost nothing and the Brix series (what I got) hugs your whole body. It feels like your in bed with pillows arround you. Hahaha... its very comfortable. They also Participate a lot in the Racing circuits and drifting competitions in Japan. They managed to have a steady appearance on the Track. Bride also makes their own brakets with sliders for the car so you dont need to worry about how you'll attach them to your car. I paid $800 per seat and $200 per braket.
To everyone - thanks for the support and the appreciation.
