to satisfy the curiosity. well the story was they did their research and design with a base Z. when they did the dyno run on the track model they had less than desirable results. not that it was low or anything but it was less than their published results. Wanted the kit
I wanted the kit until I found out you need bodywork. Was hoping you bolt on and run. Sound like bodywork will make it more of a pain and pricey..

Well, I just spent about 45 min reading through this post and I have to say that I'm very impressed. I have wanted Lambo doors since I first saw the car and had expected to find someone to do the work for me as soon as I had the funds, but looks like I won't have to do the research and developement. I'm really excited about this kit and if you're making a list of interested people or pre-orders or anything you can deffinately put my name down. Of course it does depend on price, but from the numbers you've been discussing, I'm sure I'll be on your list of first shipments.
Congrats and I have to admit, even though someone will be making money on this kit, if I had done the work I would have been much more hesitant about sharing my custom design with the rest of the Z community.

the people that fabricate this hinge lags... there was another Z in this board that was supposed to prototype for their measurement. im almost certain he's not yet done.
Blue Three50 - i will keep everyone posted dont worry.
scubadj & z-rexxx - believe me trimming your fender should be the least of your concerns. it took nothing but 20 mins per side. with a pair of steady hands and the right power tools.
jonghj - hehehe something i got from ebay. i like how it looked so i got it. its secured by zip ties. we installed it when i got my intake since we needed to remove the bumper anyways.
everyone - the next mod is a crazy sound system
in 3 weeks time prepare for some pics. the work starts this weekend

How did you mount the harness? I was looking at adding a harness, but i couldnt see where you would want to tie them down. I guess a custom cage could work, but i dont know if i want to go that far.

DrCold -- a little secret... its not attached hahaha. its hard to attach to the back of the car. we almost figured a way though, i'll post it as soon as its done. were still doin the sound sytem right now so for the mean time the harness is not a priority.

PLEASE CHANGE THEM BACK. THEY DONT LOOK RIGHT ON THIS CAR. THE Z WAS MADE FOR DEEPS IN TEH BACK (10.5-11) AND HALFWAYS UP FRONT (8-9). OTHER WISE, NICE CAR.

the Z was not made for 10.5 in the rear because it requires modification for 10.5 to fit in the rear.
AND TAKE OF THE CAPS ITS REALLY ANNOYING WHEN PEOPLE TYPE LIKE THIS
