Default Exhaust Drone

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask everyone what kind of exhaust they have, how loud it is, and the drone level.

Someone told me that all 350z will have droning with aftermarket exhaust due to the exhaust being right behind us.
Is this pretty much true?

BTW, I dont mind the droning, its just I cant hear my music or hear my passanger. lol....

My current setup is so annoyingly droning. Tanabe Hyper Racing. Especially in the cabin. I drove my friends TT G35 with tps and TD injen exhaust but I can barely hear it.

no thats not true. I have had stock, Invidia G200, Greddy Evo2, Nismo.

if you don't want drone, get the Nismo. The g200 drones SLIGHTLY as does the Evo2. However, it's not bad at all.

My current setup has zero drone(see sig). I've also had HKS and Greddy Evo2. Greddy had slight drone and HKS had NO drone whatsoever.

Yeah +1 on the Nismo exhaust, no drones. Had that on just for fun before I installed topspeed exhaust, which has major drone inside, and at a certain rpm the drone can be very annoying.

The HKS true-dual had zero drone, really? I've heard from quite a few people that state otherwise.

Other than the nismo, the fujitsubo supposedly doesn't drone. This doesn't always hold true, but overall, the louder the exhaust, the more it drones.

I'd be fine with an exhaust to get loud and drone a bit when I get on it, but I despise when you go up a slight hill in 5th gear and all you hear is the droning.

agency power 3" single with test pipes, forget about it. you can't hear yourself think, and you can't go past 2500 without scaring ppl behind you. i suggest you don't do it. i dropped down to high flow cats and it's still loud as hell.

Yup HKS High Power Ti has ZERO drone, especially the new version. I haven't tried with TP, but mated with HFC it didn't drone one bit.

Fujitsubo is basically samething as Nismo.

I have the Borla and drone is only an issue at low rpms on city streets if you're in too high of a gear. > 2500 rpm and the Borla doesn't drone at all. I had a passenger who's jaw dropped when I told him I had a Borla. He couldn't believe how quiet it was on the freeway.
