6th street sound or something rather, in LA.
I have compustar pro and it sux azz. It's suppose to be brand new from ebay but it's got like a 5 second latency. so when you hit the button, it arms and disarms about 5 seconds later. go with the viper 5900. remote start takes about 15 seconds to activate.. total junk. maybe i got some refurbish pos or it's just crap.

trying to remember how much I paid.... like 280 or something like... let me know how you like yours, maybe the latency is normal for all compustar. I've had the viper vx7100 and it was pretty good. there was a split second latency for the auto lock mechanism, but it was tolerable.

280 for just installation? what options did you have them install? remote start, window up/down, trunk? etc?

they charge a lot for the remote start. I have no other options, not even the trunk.
