Default WooHoo - I'm a Sponsor!

Hey everyone,

I've decided to come on as a Sponsor on G35Driver and My350z!

You guys may be wondering what the hell I am going to sell? Nothing. I'll be offering my services as a(n) [aspiring] photographer. I've got some new equipment that I would like to test out.

Everyone here knows that I'm a picture *****. Hell, even I know that. But I'm noob at photography and I'm bored of practicing with my own car, so I'd like to improve my skills using your guys' cars as my test subjects.

For each photo shoot, the owner will receive a minimum of 15 shots, each of which will be post-processed. You will receive a CD with the images in the mail within about two weeks. But please be patient with me as I am a student first, aspiring photographer second. :2: Location for the shoot does not matter, so long as I can work with it. It can be chosen by you or me if you don't have anything specific in mind. If I have to travel far, then there will be an additional fee for gas.

I will be starting off by charging $25 per shoot. Again, this will include a minimum of 15 post-processed photos mailed to you on a CD. This fee will cover the entire length of the shoot, which will run no more than ~2 hours. PM me to set up an appointment!

Unfortunately, most of my time is spent in San Diego as that is where I am currently attending school. However, I come home (LA) from time to time and will try my best to work with you if you guys want.

Note: I will be in the LA area for about 1 month! I will be moving back to San Diego some time after Jan. 10th!

Here are links to threads with pictures of my work:

FAQ:
What is the best time to shoot my car?
Typically, the "golden hour" is just before sunset when the sun isn't too harsh. However, a little after sunrise will work as well. Unless we can find a large shady area to shoot in, we're limited in time...unfortunately.

Can you do a photo shoot of my car with a model in it?
As of now, I cannot provide a model. It isn't as easy as picking up a cutie off the street and asking her to pose half-naked for a car. Despite what people say, modeling takes skill and not all girls have that skill. If you provide a model, then I can work something out.

Can you do rolling shots?
I can do panning shots! Check out the two threads above with example pics!

West Covina, eh? That's perfect for me, LOL. Hmm, a black car for my first shoot. Black cars are the hardest to capture! But I'm up for the challenge!

Hit me up when you wanna do it.

I live in West Covina/Walnut border. I would do it ASAP but I don't have my BBK yet (hoping to get it as a x-mas gift from wifey) I'll definitely set it for first week of Jan. if that's ok with your schedule?

BTW: I will contact you by PM from now.

What camera are you using? I know that you told me before, but I forgot sorry about that. I've out grown my fuji 9100. I'm thinking about upgrading to a DSLR (beginner).
I'm thinking about the evolt 410 or 510 fm olympus. Nice pics!!

Thanks.

On the weekdays I live at SDSU (8fwy, exit College). On the weekends I'm 15 mins north of there, right where the 5 splits into the 805.

I'm currently out of town for the holidays and won't be back to San Diego until after Jan. 15th.

Whaddup, man? I've been using a Canon Rebel XT (350d), but I just got a hold of a Canon 40d. All the pictures above were taken with the 350d! If you're interested, it's for sale right now!

Thanks, Tony!

Studio quality shoots? You're talking to the wrong person.

I'm a noob at this!

You have a PM on G35Driver, btw.
