Damn, that sucks. Glad you made it out OK. Were you still running the stock tires on it? They're no bueno for teh rain.

^Thanks bud. Still on OEM falken tires and still have about 60-70% tread left at the time of the accident.

I was driving about 60-65mph max with heavy rain and prior to the accident the car felt really light and it would move left/right with the steering wheel in a straight position, weird...

Dang, that sucks. I opened the thread and saw the first pic and thought "That doesn't look too bad. Must have just clipped something". Then I scrolled ...

Any before shots?

Most important thing is that you're okay. Another spot to watch out for when there is heavy rain is the Diamond Bar area on the 57. I hydroplaned there before and was lucky that I didn't lose it

Glad your OK...always try and stay in the middle lane during the rain...just to avoid puddles, potholes, and debris..

Bro, I know EXACTLY what you mean. The part I hate is that area right before you hit the Grand Ave. exit. So much puddles! And that area gets super busy also!

i was on that freeway last night, 1 thing, you are crazy for left laning it man, i know its after the fact, but when i got on that freeway last night i, too went to the left lane, first thing i hit a buddle and my car suddenly wanted to slam into the wall, not to mention the truck infront of me making visibility 0, my windshield wipers stood no match so i went ahead and continued in the slow lane. Sorry about your loss, but you didn't lose your life and judging my the scenario and looking at the car you got pretty lucky mang.

Only reason why I was on the fast lane (matter of 5 seconds) was to avoid a sedan who slammed on the brake on the third lane and second lane wasn't available to take.
