The purpose of this thread is just a simple reminder to stay away from the fast lane during heavy rain, avoid hydroplaning and crashing (learned from experience this early morning on 5fwy northbound). Obviously the car is a total loss as seen in the pics. To make long story short I lost control of my vehicle and spun out a couple of times, hit the guard rail so hard that by car bounced and hit the center divider and I ended up in the middle of the freeway, luckily not much cars/trucks around at the time. I wasn't worried about the condition of the car but more on getting to see my 2 kids and my wife again. Be safe out there!

haha, yeah, i think having two fast car is almost a waste. AWD is good for daily but a performance AWD has proven that it's still not safe in bad weather. Time to change your sig.

 

Man that sucks bro, glad you're ok and walked away from the accident. Hopefully you can replace it soon, better the EVO than the Z.

This is why I try not to drive my Z on a rainy day. You just don't know what might happen with the road condition like that.

Sucks man. Glad you're ok though. I almost lost control of my Z the same way last year on the 2 fwy. Hopefully you're insurance will have you're back. I cant see the pics from work but if you have any aftermarket parts you can salvage let me know. My buddy has a black SE.
