The other night I left work at 1AM while it was raining and on my way home some guy in a modded Eclipse tried to race me. Crazy dude gunned it in the pouring rain on the freeway.

sorry for your loss. but i'm glad you're ok. i also learned myself after i sold my MR, whoever bought crashed it after two days of owning it. apparently, he took an off/on-ramp too fast (thinking since it's awd and he's the s**t driver), kissed the guard-rail all the way and f**ked up the whole left side of the car. funny thing was that he blamed my car for having too much power (that;s according to the police report). what an idiot. anyway, be safe out there man.
