Headlight condensation fix?
I have some condensation/water drops inside of my headlight. I know the proplem is caused from improper sealing of the headlight itself, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the droplets? Can you use a hairdryer and heat them up?
Any suggestions let me know!

did you ever do that headlight open mod to paint the insides?
id imagine a hairdryer could work, just on low and take your time, i dont see any harm from using one? just dont go nuts with it on high and press it to the plastic.. im sure i dont have to tell you

never did a headlight mod, not sure why it started doing this. It was fine until about a month ago, it did it once then went away and then came back again.
I have the base model and the only thing I have done was drill the hole in the back of the plastic for the ballast wiring to go through.
Hairdryer may work and I'll try it for sure

The headlights are not sealed. Make sure that it is not a film on the outside of the light. If it is, Maguires Plastix will remove it. If it is on the interior, you have to pull the headlight assembly out and toss it in the oven at about 220 degrees F. Pull it apart and clean the inside. While it's open get rid of the ugly orange reflector strip. Use some black silcon sealant to reseal it, hopefully the problem will not come back.

do you know those packages of little pellets that you get in those seaweed snacks? or any asian snacks in that matter? well those are there to absorb moisture, and i had the same problem with my other car before when i did the headlight mod. all you need to do is get a pack of those and put them in each headlight and give it about 30 minutes and the moisture will disappear. but if it keeps happening your going to have to find where theres a loose seal.

"Fog may temporarily form inside the lens of the exterior lights in the rain or in a car wash. A temperature difference between the inside and outside of the lens causes the fog. This is not a malfunction. If large drops of water collect inside the lens, contact a NISSAN dealer."
