Default Help!!..

Hi I was driving down 210 E around La Canada and Pasadena and CHP pulled me over for some bullshet..

he was on my left side for about 15secs and when I slow down he slow down also and got on my *** and 3sec later the Red light come up...
I'm like Fuuck... I didn't do anything wrong...

When he pulled me over, he said that he pulled me over for my exhaust...-_-;;;;
He even made me pop the hood to inspect...

I even told him that it is my birthday tomorrow which is today and he still gave me a ticket.. what a *****...

whatever.. so..
I got a ticket for modofied exhaust (HKS Hi Ti) and no front licence plate...

Few Qs..

on my ticket, it says I have to be at the court on 2/11/08

do I have to have a stock exhaust by than and get inspection, or do I wait until than and put back my stock exhaust after the court day?

or can I fight for it?

Please help.. I;m very sad..

u need to get the stock exhaust back on and front plate on and get it signed off before the court date. im sorry u had to get this on ur bday

you could also fight it by proving him that ur exhaust doesnt exceed the decible level too. i believe its 90 db?

wait.. no. if its something that has to be inspected like an exhaust, i think you need to take it to a DMV or CHP inspection center, or a PD that's equipped to inspect it. for the plates, you can have any cop sign that off. i went to the sherriff's station on briggs on the la crescenta/la canada border off foothill blvd. before you go anywhere just call them and make sure they can inspect and sign off the exhaust ticket.
also.. if you truly dont think it's that loud, get it checked out by like an audio shop or something.. look up the laws and try to fight it.
and.. the back of your ticket should fully explain exactly what you need to do. i dunno why no one ever bothers to read their tickets..

State Ref inspection if its a fix it had with my Z in Sandiego get your stock put back on and front license plate put up and take it to get inspected and they'll sign it off Or you can always fight it by proving it doesnt meet the 90dcb really up to you what route you wanna go

I dout it cuz my HFC is not like polished or something that catches attention..

I think I;m going to just put back the stock catback and front plate and get it inspected..
Thanks people though..

It's not a driving violation, it shouldn't affect your insurance rate.
