Default Looking for reputable POWDERCATER to do time attack style on Rays Track Wheels

I've searched this section and called numerous shops including IKON and Reliable that were listed in the other thread. They both can not do the red lip. Someone mentioned DTM. Who are they and what their contact info? I would also like to get the OEM lug nuts done in the same red. Basically copying this setup. Price isn't an issue but would help.

nope tuner lugs dont work *safely* with OEM wheels. They will thread and look good to the naked eye but the taper doesnt go in the wheel like it does on aftermarket.

That looks amazing. Good luck with the powder coat. Make sure you most some pics as soon as you complete it.

Powdercoat always looks like "orange peel" but if you have the time and lots of 1000 grit sandpaper & water you can usually fix the orange peel, then clear coat. Or just buy some blackwheels that weigh less and look better.

that exactly why Im posting. When done right powderdoating doesn't have the orange peel. Im looking for a professional grade shop. I had part powdercoated on my vortech supercharged s2000 and they were flawless. And my buddys golf cart....but that shop is no longer excepting private work.

The cost to powdercoat better be good, if not, you might as well consider trade the wheels plus cash with some aftermarket one. Just my opinion

Neither Ikon or Reliable will do that type of powder coating. They will only powder coat the whole wheel... not just the lip. They said that they had too many customers complain that the painted lip was not perfect.

Im sure there are some high quality shops around like DTM who will still do they type of work. Its definitely gana cost you. I still want to re-powder coat my time attacks as well to make the red lip a little thicker, so let me know what you find cost wise at DTM.

I can get them powdercoated gloss or flat black by IKON for $30 a wheel. They said they can refer me to a painter who can do the stripe and lugs...I dont really want paint though. Looks like Im just going gloss black then
