Default Powder Coating Rims

Hey guy's I wanted your input. I am going to power coat my stock 17's. I was wondering what color do you think will flow with my car(Silverstone) Black? Gold? Suggestions?

I've seen chrome stockers on a few occassions. Kinda nice but I've been thinking about maybe going black with my own. I saw an 03 SS with black chrome on the stock wheels, looked clean. I figure the black, with some decent window tint would set up a sort of euro look...

Gloss or Flat black, matte gunmetal, and bronze would be my first choices. Gold looks very unique on SS (it'll make you stand out like a sore thumb), some like it, some don't - I love it.

flat black on stockers look good. you could also do the "time attack" look like some people have with stockers and do a red pinstripe. In my opinion though, i say just buy some aftermarket wheels instead of wasting money on powdercoat.

Check this out... I sprayed mine Flat black. If you dont wanna dump $400 on powder coating then just paint them with autozone wheel paint. Yes it will chip easier but you can always do touch-ups. http://img530.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000072rz4.jpg

Rattlecans FTL. Please sell the car before you ruin it any further. I can probably find you a good deal on a used honda that will already have the sticker installed for you.

Easy there. This rattlecan intervention is for your own good. Sometimes people get mixed up in rice by mistake. It can start innocently enough. A few stickers here, like you have done ... A few spray painted rims there, also like you hve done. Next thing you know, you are completely riced out and didn't even realize it was happening. This thread could be a turning point for you. A chance to get your life back on track and clean things up. Please stop and try to get off the rice.

The sticker that I HAD on my car was, Nissan Sport... I put it on my car becuase I was promoting the NISSAN SPORT MAGAZINE! NOW, IF YOU THINK THAT IS RICE YOUR A F-CKING IDIOT. Trust me I hate RICE. That thread a while back with that daytona Z with the fake supercharger and ****** *** wing made me sick to my stomach. I actually hate all the body kits/wings/lips that go on the Z's, it makes the Z look terrible IMO. I dont see anything wrong with spraying your wheels if you do it RIGHT! It took me like 6 hours to prep the wheels, I was actually trying to do a nice job. If anything I am passionate about my 350z, and love my car. If I had the extra cash, sure, I would go and get them powdercoated. But for now this is a more reasonable alternative. If you would like to send me a check for $400.00 I would gladly accept it. PLEASE STOP PREACHING ABOUT RICE AND GET A LIFE!

Flat black looks good. I saw a black Z on the road a couple years ago and it looks mean when rolling. My friend is planning on doing this to his car as well, but its on an aftermarket wheel.
