Hello Jill!
Thank you for replying. Actually I am fully aware that this might not change anyones mind. I am sure I wont change ones opinion with a couple of paragraphs, especially when that one displays their opinions with unconcealed irritation and vulgarity,(thank you very much!)
I would have better luck convincing a tiger to become a vegetarian.
I submitted this post chiefly because I felt the desire to express my opinions, a right some approached with less tact and consideration than most care to observe!
If I DO change someones mind then that is a bonus that might make me feel better.
Another reason I submitted this post was because I was certain that it would raise the awarness that nothing is really sacred once you post it on the internet. Posting a picture of a nice car on the net (or anything nice for that matter
) and expecting it not to be pirated or photoshopped is like wearing a chum leasure suit, jumping into shark infested waters and expecting the underwater carnivores to window shop only!!!
Don't you agree that posting a picture on a forum that millions can have potential access to is not the thing to do if you dont want your pics coppied?
Also you are assuming that a photoshop artist will always easily be able to find the photographer. Not so. I have not put a copyright or a watermark on a single picture I have posted. Nor have many. If I wanted to photoshop a Z and found just the right picture, if possible, I would ask permission. IF I saw a copyright. If not forget it. Trying to find the owner of a photo can be tedious or even impossible, if not posted on the owners thread or website. The most logical solution for those who are sensitive to their pictures being altered is to keep them to themselves! Or just watermark your photos! No one will alter those trust me.
Or those people can continue to post unprotected photos and continue to complain when they are pirated and altered, and I can continue to post my opinions on it and you can continue to disagree with me. Makes no difference me. I love surfing this forum.
Thank you Jill for your response and best wishes to you
P.S.
The best way to not start a lot of "drama" is not to be dramatic. Lets just keep this in mind. I promise not to if you do

I don't see the problem nor the point to start a whole bunch of drama over this.
