not a fair trade?
i think it is: 1 guy for 3 guys plus 2 future 1st round draft picks.

It's about time sloppy Kwame got dealt. There are more setbacks than benefits having him in such a talent roster for the Lakers. Welcome to lala land Pau. The West just keeps getting stronger.

possibly, but the grizzlies a probably 13-30 team is getting who? a rookie, washed up mckie, and sorry A kwayme(sp) brown. they gave up their best player (arguably)...

doesnt seem like a good trade, but possibly have to wait it out a few years, just my opinion

It's a good move for the lakers, but overall, they're giving up three first round draft pics when you consider Crittenton, that's a lot.

Much of this year's success can be contributed to the Lakers young players who were 1st round pics in themselves.

true, great move for the lakers for sure.

the grizzlies...hmmm. well we have to wait a few years to see the results of the trade, but the 3 first round draft pics are always nice. i jus think its dumb for grizzlies, but you always have to look years ahead if your that bad, it kind of reminds me of the lakers a few years ago

They're not giving up a "lot", just a "little bit" too much. Out of of four, they're giving up two of their worst first round picks. (besides the seasoned veteran Fisher). Andrew Bynum, in my opinion is the only 1st round pick that is contributing much to the lakers. The other 1st round pick, Vujacic has on and off days.

They gave up two first round picks, but received one second round pick themselves. They also gave up the draft rights to Marc Gasol, (Who is already bigger than his older brother) which worries me.. But that's okay for now, because Marc isn't in the Nba, he's playing basketball in the Spain league.

Hats off the Kupchak for getting rid of Kwame Brown.. But, Kwame who has a payroll of $9mil has a contract expiring at the end of this season, which will help Memphis greatly for next year. Not too happy on Javaris Crittenton's part of the trade, but this is okay too. Why? He was the 5th guard on the team.. He was a rookie, wanted to see more of him before the lakers got rid of him.

I'm extremely happy with this trade. We now possibly have the best roster in the NBA, not to mention we have 5 7 footers on the floor!! (Lamar Odom/Ronny Turiaf being 2 inches short, but that's still almost 7 feet )

Gasol is an awesome add to the team. Once Bynum gets back to healthy status, The Lakers will be unstoppable!!! BRING ON BOSTON!!!
