Default Just moved from NJ cant stand LA TRAFFIC!!!! PLZ HELP

HEY GUYS

I just got a job thats in Marina Del Ray and I live in Pasadena.

My office manager is real leniant and letting me switch my hours if i wanted to. I do not care if i go through traffic 1 way but both ways really kill me. Today i got home in 3 hours.

Someone please tell me what time frame is good please.

Right now my my schedule is 11am-5pm. The morning commute is alright, understandable but going home It has to be a 6 hour shift...

please someone help me i feel like i am wasting my life in my car.

yea way better. 1pm youll have lunch traffic which isnt too bad and 7pm is when traffic sort of dies out unless theres and accident or some event going on. ask your manager if you can try it out

^+1, or stay after your shift and do overtime like I do. Best time/shift to avoid traffic 5a-2p or 11a-8p, other than that you just have to get used to it.

I do my own schedule, so for the most part I avoid the traffic jam hours. I commute 35 miles 1 way thats 70 miles both ways 5 days a week. Sometimes it takes me 35 mins. w/o traffic and 2 hrs w/traffic. Thats LA traffic my friend

P.S.S. Find another job closer to home. No part time job is worth a 40 mile 3 hr commute.
